NC-17 AU. John is with the FBI, while Natalie is an officer with the LPD (similar to Talia on
OLTL right now). She decided to go this direction after what happened to Jess (the abuse, DID,
etc.). She is tapped to take part in a major FBI sting operation, partnered directly/solely with none
other than the intrepid John McBain!
Now, a warning – the subject matter in this story is difficult, and the actions taken by law enforcement
(and our favorite characters) to take down the creeps is a bit out there. But hopefully that is what will
make it an at least somewhat compelling story!

John McBain is placed undercover in the Kirov household so that he'll be in place to help extract that
asset when the time comes, but that won't be for some 6 months! And in the meantime his cover
assignment: to act as a very personal bodyguard to Natalie! He tries to remain on misssion... and her
heart is frozen. But they are drawn to each other, succumbing to passion while fearing there'll never be
a way out. And what happens when Natalie finds out who John really is?

parts of the globe will complicate matters, but it is politically important that the President make these
trips. Things become yet more complicated when the First Daughter invites a friend along for the
entire tour - her college roommate Natalie! John is an older, seasoned agent... he shouldn't be
thinking about a young and vibrant redhead - he should be focusing on protecting the leader of the
free world and his family! Of course there are even more twists and complications along the way....

EXTREME NC-17 AU
For this story, Natalie was never kidnapped and separated from her family. The McBains lived in
Llanview – Thomas was still killed in the line of duty, but it was as a Llanview cop. Bo became a
mentor/almost uncle to John, who followed him and his father into Law Enforcement at the LPD
first, and then he went on to the FBI. John had been best friends with Kevin Buchanan, and always
thought of Natalie especially like a kid-sister. He was a dear friend to her when she was growing up.
Natalie had a stormier relationship with Michael McBain, more like contentious siblings, but with an
undercurrent of affection nonetheless.
Timelines: this story will bounce around a bit. For short passages, I will use flashbacks. But some
chapters will take us all back to the past. I will try to make it clear when we’ve shifted from one to the
other.
Finally – this is a darker story than PD. Even darker, in many ways, than AC. The serial killers in
this commit crimes with a BDSM flavor. But the psychological and emotional aspects of BDSM
will be somewhat explored as Jolie et al get drawn into solving these crimes.
